Obituary
Ruth Espitia of Southern Pines passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, at the age of 43.
Ruth was born on February 17, 1978, in Memphis, TN to Drew and Barbara Tucker Jackson. Throughout high school, she was active in sports, including tennis and cross country. She was an avid reader and an outgoing person. Ruth enjoyed playing the piano as well as gardening. Ruth served in the United States Army where she served as a Military Police Officer.
She is survived by her husband, Jesus; her children, Alexander Giovanni Espitia and Charles Valentino; her parents, Drew and Barbara Jackson; her sisters, Mary Jackson, and Rachel Vurgess.
A memorial service will be held a Crumpler Funeral Home at 9:00 am on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Burial will be in the Pinebluff Cemetery
