Rebecca Ann (Wright) Michael

Rebecca Wright Michael of Aberdeen passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at the age of 68.

Rebecca was born in Richmond County on December 20, 1950, to the late James and Christine Davis Wright. Rebecca thoroughly enjoyed crafting and going to crafting festivals. She was a loving girlfriend, mother, grandmother, and sister. She is preceded in death by her brother, James Wright.

She leaves behind her loving companion of 20 years, Robert Bowden of Aberdeen; her children, Christopher Michael (Erica) of Jackson Springs, Angela Morse of Ellerbe, Kelli Payne (Aaron) of Rockingham; her sisters, Jerry McDonald (John) of Hamlet, Rachel Reese of Laurinburg, Janet Webb of Rockingham; 7 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 beginning at 2:00 pm at Mt. Calvary Rock of Ages Church, 464 County Home Rd in Rockingham with Pastor Donnie Nuttall officiating. A gathering of friends and family will follow the service in the church fellowship hall. 

A private interment at the church cemetery will be held at a later date.
