Obituary

Ms. Kimberly Stokes Waldron of Pinebluff passed away unexpectedly in her home on March 18, 2020, at the age of 60.

Kim was born in Ronceverte, West Virginia on June 17, 1959, to COL (Ret) John Patrick Stokes III, and the late Joyce Longanacre Stokes.  Kim worked for many years as an Army Public Affairs Officer in the Civil Service. She was a member of the Australian Shepherd Club of America and enjoyed competing with her four-legged companions in both agility and show.  Kim had a deep admiration for the military and loved soldiers.

The burial was held on Monday, March 23, 2020, at Sinks Grove Baptist Church, West Virginia near the family farm that was one of her favorite places on earth. The family will conduct a graveside service there at a later time.
