James Wayne Griffin

Mr. James Wayne Griffin of Pinebluff passed away in his home on April 17, 2019 at the age of 81.

Mr. Griffin was born in Moore County on July 10, 1937 to the late Bryce Farrrington Griffin and Ruby Bellet Griffin. James proudly served in the US Army. After serving in the US Army he worked for over thirty years with Coca Cola as a service technician. After leaving Coca Cola, he then began working as a valued employee at Burney Hardware of Aberdeen. James will always be remembered by his friendly smile and welcoming personality. James enjoyed fishing and camping. He was a loving and dedicated husband and father to his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dianna Griffin.

He leaves behind his two sons, Bryan Griffin and his wife, Marlynn and their two children of Statesboro, GA and Gary Griffin and his wife, Carol of Huntersville and their five children; his sister Carolyn Boggs of Aberdeen.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 20, 2019 between the hours of 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm at Crumpler Funeral Home of Aberdeen, 105 Windy Hill Rd, Aberdeen, NC 28315. The family will hold a memorial graveside service in the Pinebluff Cemetery at a later date.
