Bobbie Joe Dick

Mr. Bobbie Joe Dick of Carthage passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Peak Resources Pinelake at the age of 64.

Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 pm at Ives Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Virgil Dwyer officiating. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.

Bobbie was born in Moore County on June 3, 1954 to the late Cecil B. Dick and Effie Campbell Dick. Bobbie enjoyed spending his spare time fishing, and spending quality time with his pets. One of the happiest times in his life was when his children were born. He was a longtime worker of Black Industries as a heavy equipment operator. He was a very personable and likable. Bobbie always had a charming personality and enjoyed making other people laugh. Bobbie always showed respect to others and lived life boldly. He was preceded in death, by his brother, Harry Dick and his two sisters, Lois Bridges and Mary Thomas.

Bobbie is survived by his children, Matthew Calaway of Kalamazoo, MI, Erin Calaway and her wife, Stephanie of Niles, OH, William Archibald of Carthage, Charles Cleaver of Carthage; his siblings, James Dick and his wife, Judy of Aberdeen, Robert Dick of SC, Sarah Lange of Patriot, OH, David Dick and his wife, Glenda of Carthage, Donald Dick and his wife, Karen of Sanford, Phyllis King of Carthage, Glenn Dick and his wife, Ann of Jackson Springs; 4 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
